Join me on a one week improvement camp and enjoy all that this beautiful resort has to offer, as well as some exceptional coaching. The grooming and the off piste possibilities make this a prime spot to hone your skills.
During this course, you will get to ride with like minded people who also have a desire to get better at snowboarding. We will explore a wide range of skills that will allow you to progress your riding to the next level. From world class grooming, to steep and powder filled gullies, passing through some progressive park riding, Åre has everything to be THE mountain you'll progress on.
In the evenings, we will go out as a group to eat in one of the village's many options.
On your off day, get out and enjoy the mountain by yourself or with your new friends, or join me on a splitboarding adventure around Åre's massif.

WHO IS IT FOR?
If you wish to get better, or just ride with a group of like minded people all while experiencing a beautiful Scandinavian mountain destination, this is for you!
We recommend that you are at least at an intermediate to advanced level so that the group can stick together at all times.

DAILY OUTLINE
Day 1 - Saturday
ARRIVAL DAY
After arriving in Åre, we will meet at one of the central bars to grab a refreshment and get to know each other a little.
Day 2 - Sunday
LESSON DAY
As soon as the lifts are running, we will hit the slopes and get to know each other. The objective for this day will be to set ourselves some technical goals for the week.
Day 3 - Monday
LESSON DAY
Today is all about hammering in some techniques that will greatly improve our skills on the board.
Day 4 - Tuesday
LESSON DAY
We explore different parts of the hill based on the conditions and adapt what we've learnt so far to different environments.
Day 5 - Wednesday
LESSON DAY
Mileage. Going the distance and exploring the entire mountain will help you consolidate your new skillset. You will find your limits, and potentially extend those today.
Day 6 - Thursday
LESSON DAY
This will be a continuation of Day 5. Working out kinks in the new found skills as well as adding some style to them.
Day 7 - Friday
LESSON DAY
This last lesson day is all about playing using what we've learnt while cruising around and going back to our favourite spots. We will make sure to finish off the week with a proper send off as well.
Day 8 - Saturday
DEPARTURE DAY
Depending on departure times, we will meet for a final breakfast together before saying our goodbyes and until next time.
WHAT YOU'RE PAYING FOR
COACHING/VIDEO ANALYSIS
6 full days of coaching including a video analysis debrief session at the end of every lesson day. The coaching will be catered to the individual, taking in consideration the snow conditions and the group's overall objectives.
ONLINE GEAR TECH SESSION
A couple of weeks before the course, we will have an online tech session about gear to ensure everyone has everything they need for the trip.
24/7 HOSTING
Your coach will act as your personal host for the duration of your stay. You will be able to contact him at any point during the course with any issue you may have.
ON CALL TRAVEL PLANNING
As part of this program, I will be ready and on call (via chat or phone) for any help you may need with booking accommodations or transportation to and from the camp.

WHERE TO STAY
Åre has a wide selection of accommodations available
There are many different areas where one could decide to stay in Åre. Feel free to pick and choose the area you'd like to be in, but just as a reference, our course will be starting in the main village's (Åre By) vicinity every morning. I would recommend selecting a place to stay there, but know that they do have a SkiBus that operates during the day to facilitate getting from one village to the other. Get in touch if you want to discuss your options, or get recommendations on where to stay.
